Shop Local is an initiative powered by the Cornwall & Area Chamber of Commerce to make local shopping easy while promoting businesses in the Cornwall & SDGA area. Companies can create a profile with their logo and information, which will appear on the website under their corresponding category and geographical location.
The Chamber reached out to us to see if we could redesign the Shop Local website and create a more user-friendly experience for visitors. We were so excited to collaborate with them and help solve the pain points for this initiative. The website was fully custom — from sketchbook to live website — and included a rigorous CMS to support the project’s goals.
We also worked with them to create an animation highlighting local businesses, contest posters, social media marketing, and materials to support their Ambassador program. Shop Local is now running strong with a foundation that highlights the benefits of shopping locally.
